League of Legends has been running for seven years now and has offered us a variety of champions skins we all have loved and adored for their artistic values. But although these skins can be bought, some of them are only released for a limited time, making them exceedingly rare. And if you’re wondering what skins I’m talking about, well here are some of them:

PAX Twisted Fate

PAX Twisted Fate was a skin code given out at the Penny Arcade Expo 2009, back when League of Legends was just starting. It was never available for purchase, making it one of the rarest skins. The skin features Pax logo on his shoulders, hat, and belt.

Silver Kayle

Silver Kayle is one of the Collector’s Edition, making it a permanent and limited edition skin. It is one of the oldest skins in the game and happens to be the most visually appealing skin.

Championship Riven

Championship Riven is the skin that connotes the Season 2 World Championship which eventually returned for the Season 6 World Championship. Her sword was also inspired by the blue fire crater from Ijen.

Urf Warwick

Urf Warwick is an April Fool Skin which features Warwick wearing Urf’s coat. It was revealed that Urf Warwick took over Planet Urf. He shares the Urf theme with Nami and Kench.

King Rammus

King Rammus is a rare League of Legends skins because it was given to those who participated in a closed beta test, and since there are just around 250,000 players. It is a reference Bowser from Mario.

UFO Corki

UFO Corki is a awarded to all players who signed up on January 14, 2010. It is the first Legendary skin from Riot. Aside from this, players also received the Ice Toboggan Corki skin for free.

PAX Sivir

PAX Sivir is a skin inspired by Tron and has a cross blade references from D-pad. It is the last PAX skin that came in 2011. It also has a console directional pad replacing Sivir’s thrown blade.

Young Ryze

Young Ryze was called “Human Ryze” before its update. It is one of the four Collector’s Edition skins together with Black Alistair, Goth Annie, and Silver Kayle. It can only be obtained by pre-ordering and is an edition’s retail copy. The skin’s art splash features a Pre-fall Shurima as a background.
