July 4th’s over, and that means only one thing: it’s finally time for Anime Expo 2018, the biggest anime event of the year. Day one of the massive convention kicked off yesterday, and it certainly didn’t disappoint.

Hundreds of booths lined the exhibition hall, with heavyweights like Aniplex, Crunchyroll, Square Enix, Fate/Grand Order VR, and Blizzard Entertainment all showcasing their new products and merchandise. Whether it’s custom designed clothing, plush toys, collectible cards, or action figurines, Anime Expo simply has everything a die-hard anime fan would want.

Not only that, special events like the AX 2018 Fashion Show, “OTAQUEST LIVE” Concert, Cosplay Deviants and Anisong World Matsuri added to the hype, giving expo attendees one-of-a-kind experiences they’ll never forget. AX 2018’s Cosplay Senpai is also a major event, starring handpicked Cosplayers who’ve made significant impacts in the community to answer questions and give advice through panels and discussions.

Speaking of cosplay, cosplay this year was extravagant as ever, with fan-favorite costumes like Naruto, Luffy from One Piece, and Serena from Sailor Moon seen throughout the convention. Here are some of the other costumes we captured.

This year, our CyberpowerPC booth was much larger, showcasing a total of 10 completely custom built systems. Each system had a different case, but all of them featured top-of-the-line hardware, including an Intel 8th Gen Core i7-8700k 3.70 GHz processor, MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Duke 8G OC graphics card, MSI Z370 Gaming Pro Carbon motherboard, 512 GB WD Black SSD M.2 2280 PCIE NVME, 16 GB XPG Spectrix D40 RBG 2400 MHz ram, EVGA 850W 80 Plus Gold GQ Modular PSU, Coolermaster MasterLiquid ML120R RGB Cooler, and TP-Link 802.11AC Archer T2u Wireless Adapter.

Each system was fully functional and available for AX attendees to play. Players got to experience the incredible performance of our systems while playing the most popular games around, the likes of which include Fortnite, PUBG, and Overwatch.

Aside from some of the signature Syber L and Syber XL cases on display at our booth, the main attractions were the four custom anime-themed cases on display. And while they were still each packed with hardware, these vinyl-wrapped cases showcased some of the hottest anime designs around, including My Hero Academia, Darling in the Franxx, Tokyo Ghoul, and Food Wars. It gets even better — we’ll be doing an online giveaway sometime this weekend through our social media, so be sure to follow us (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) to receive information about the online giveaway when it’s posted!
