Draw Distance, the developer behind games like Halls of Horror and Ritual, has announced their new upcoming horror game titled “Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries in New York.” It is said to feature a single-player narrative experience, which is scheduled to be released this year to Nintendo Switch and gaming PC.

Vampire: The Masquerade will focus on the story of two vampiric factions, Camarilla and Anarchs, and their struggle for power in the city of New York. It will also be set in a rich, fully licensed, and globally recognized universe of Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition.

In the game, the player is allowed to choose one of each several Vampire Clans — each has a playable character that offers different Disciplines. This involves your character’s ethical approaches to dialogues and issues. There will be character-oriented quests that allow players to reinforce NPC loyalties and multiple endings that are attainable based on the actions the player made throughout the game.

Its developers described the game as an atmospheric narrative experience. The game will let you play as a new-fledge vampire, taking part in branching dialogue choices. As stated, the player can use his clan’s Disciplines to charm, sneak, intimidate or kill. The game is also expected to have post-launch support, which includes standalone stores.

Although Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York is set for a Q4 2019 release for PC and Nintendo Switch. Draw Distance said that the game could also have a PS4 or Xbox One release at a later date.

Just to make things clear, Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York is a separate game from Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2. The latter is a sequel to the 2004’s game Bloodlines, which is set to be released to PC, Xbox One, and PS4 in 2020
