The RPG video game based on the Digimon franchise, Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth, is set to be released on Nintendo Switch and gaming PC via Steam next year. The announcement came through a new announcement trailer from Bandai Namco.
Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth is a 2016 RPG incarnation of the Digimon universe, which was previously released on PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. The Complete Edition will also include the game’s sequel, Hacker’s Memory, which was released in 2018.
Other than that, Bandai Namco didn’t announce any additional content.
Cyber Sleuth focused on the story of a group of teens who were pulled into a reality-bending plot. It involves hackers, detectives, as well as Digimon companions to help them battle against evil forces.

The game has a third-person POV gameplay where players gain control of a human character that is given the ability to command Digimon. These are digital creatures that have their own unique skills to battle against evil Digimon. Players are given a choice to select either Terriermon, Hagurumon, or Palmon as their Digimon partner. The player can then obtained more Digimon as they explore new areas.
Cyber Sleuth features 249 unique Digimons, and also include seven downloadable content, two of which were exclusive to the Western release.
Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth will be released on October 18, 2020.
