Bandai Namco has announced the three new characters for their upcoming action RPG game, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. These characters that will be featured in the game are some of the series’ favorites, including Vegeta, Piccolo, and Gohan.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is a new action RPG video game from Bandai Namco, which is currently being developed by CyberConnect2. The same company worked on licensed anime games like Naruto Shippuden games, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures, and .hack RPGs.
According to CyberConnect2, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be a full-fledged action RPG. It will feature different worlds that players can freely explore. It will also include a leveling system and NPC side quests for players to complete. And as usual, the game will have fighting segments that, according to the developer, will feel closer to the old 3D Dragon Ball fighting games.
Aside from the three newly announced characters, mainstay characters like Krillin, Chiatotzu, Yamcha, and Tien will also appear in the game.
As for the game itself, fans can also expect non-canonical elements. New backstories will be featured for some of the side characters present in the game as well.
Dragonball Z: Kakarot doesn’t have a specific release date as of this writing. But it is confirmed that the game will be released for Microsoft Windows gaming PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
