Detroit: Become Human Gets its PC Release Date

Detroit: Become Human is an adventure video game from Quantic Dream, which was released on May 25, 2018, for PlayStation 4. And now, the game is finally coming to gaming PC on December 12.

The announcement came with a PC trailer from Quantum Dream called “Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls.” The trailer featured the stories of several androids living in future Detroit, who yearn to have their own freedom.

The PC version of Detroit: Become Human will be available on the Epic Games Store. Its retail price is $39.99. Epic Games Store will also release a free playable demo on the game’s release date so users can try it out.

Quantum Dream also confirmed that the PC version of the game will support upgraded visuals running at up to 4K and 60 fps.

Detroit: Become Human features the stories of three androids and their quest to attain their own freedom. The first one is Kara, who escapes the owner she was serving to protect a young girl named Alice. The other android is Connor, whose job is to hunt down sentient androids. Then there is the third android named Markus, who devotes himself to release other androids from servitude.

The game features third-person perspective gameplay, which story flows depending on the player’s decisions. As the developers explained, the game is subject to a set and controllable perspective.

Detroit: Become Human is developed by Quantum Dream and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
