CyberPunk 2077 Update V’s Female Version

Developer CD Projekt Red celebrated last week’s International Women’s Day by releasing the new look of the female version of their protagonist in CyberPunk 2077.

The updated image of the protagonist V, female version, was shared in Cyberpunk 2077 official Twitter account. And according to the studio, the same image will grace the game’s reversible box art.

V still looks like a hardened citizen of the Night City, as we’ve seen in the previous trailers but with a few differences. The female version of V now sports a much brighter red hair, has pierced ears, and a few minor changes to her face. Unlike the previous one, she has np smokey eyeshadow, and her face lines are now located a little lower on her cheeks.

And as stated earlier, CD Projekt Red confirmed in multiple tweets that the new image would be featured in the reverse box art cover. That will allow players to decide whether they want to have a masculine or feminine V gracing their game.

Unlike the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, CyberPunk 2077 features character customization in-game. This means that players will be able to change the character’s skin type, hairstyle, clothes, tattoos, makeup, and more. The game also allows players to change or choose a body type rather than a strictly defined gender.

CyberPunk 2077 is scheduled to be released on September 17, 2020, for Microsoft Windows gaming PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Google Stadia.
