Conan Exiles – Architects of Argos Pack
Funcom
Funcom has really done a fantastic job of fleshing out their fantasy-themed survival/crafting title, Conan Exiles. When I’d first played the game back even before its exit from Early Access in 2018, I wondered exactly how they planned to give it some cultural flavor. After all, the character creation system featured different ethnicities from Robert E. Howard’s Hyperborian universe, there really wasn’t a way to outfit them with anything culturally distinct.
Funcom figured out an ingenious way to not only support themselves, but add some cultural diversity throughout the last couple of years. That method has been to offer packs that emulate the distinct cultures encountered within Hyperboria.
These culture-based packs have been completely cosmetic in nature and don’t give any advantage to gamers who purchase them—in other words, there’s no sleazy pay-to-play nonsense going on here. This has allowed the developers to focus on working on free content, which they release on a pretty regular basis.
Titled: Conan Exiles – Architects of Argos Pack, this latest cultural pack is one of the best looking of them all, so far. Just as the last pack, Debaucheries of Derketo, allowed players more ways to build vast tree-bases, as well as more freedom when it came to role-playing (lots of fun emotes), Architects of Argos has a nautical theme going on and goes well with watery environments.
The pack’s marble architectural pieces look like something out of the classical Greek period. Therefore, they pair well with the Jewel of the West Pack, which has a similar Mediterranean theme going on; with high ceilings, breathtaking fountains, and statues, smooth marble, etc.
Here’s a breakdown from the game’s Steam page:
“Architects of Argos Pack contains:
49 new and exclusive building pieces
Ornate pieces including beautiful vaulted ceilings
18 new and elegant placeables
Decorate your base with classical statues and fountains
3 new mount saddles
Equip your horse with the Argossean Warhorse saddle
15 new armor pieces in three sets, such as the Phalanx armor
Light, medium and heavy sets with an epic end-game version of each
9 new weapons in the Argossean set
Same power as iron weapons with an epic end-game version of each weapon”
However you slice it, that’s a good deal of content for its paltry $10 price tag. Now, I’m just hoping Funcom will introduce a magic system (sorcery, as they previously stated) to Conan Exiles so that I can build my wicked wizard of Set.

The Conan Exiles – Architects of Argos Pack has some pretty good looking graphics that make its fantasy gameplay truly shine. However, you want to have a pretty beefy gaming PC or gaming laptop in order to play it at a decent framerate. So, you may just want to invest in a decent gaming rig:
