Paradox Interactive announced that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has been delayed.

The announcement was revealed in Bloodlines 2’s official Twitter account, saying that Paradox Interactive and Hardsuit Labs have delayed Bloodlines 2. According to the developers, the decision has been made so they can be able to deliver the best game possible and a great successor to the original Bloodlines game.

The team explained that due to the quality bar and ambitions they have set, they made the difficult decision that they need more time. This means that their initial plan to release the game this 2020 is no longer possible. The team also said that moving the launch is one of the changes they made to ensure the best player experience.

The tweet also notes that fans will get more information about the launch timing in the coming months. They also confirmed that the new release is not set yet.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was previously delayed beyond its initial Q1 2020 release date. It was supposedly about to be launched back in October 2019.

The game will now launch at an indeterminate point in 2021 for gaming PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is an upcoming RPG action-adventure video game, and is part of the World of Darkness series. It is based on Vampire – The Masquerade, White Wolf Publishing’s tabletop roleplaying game. Bloodlines 2 is also the sequel to the 2004’s Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines.

The game follows the story of a human in the 21st century Seattle, who is killed and revived as a thin blood vampire with weak vampiric abilities. The game’s goal is for players to grow stronger and develop their skills until they can join one of the five Full-blood clans.
