Bloodrayne 1 and 2 Gets PC Remasters in November 2020

Bloodrayne

Ziggurat Interactive has announced to fans that enhanced versions of Bloodrayne and Bloodrayne 2 will be released on November 20, 2020. The game will be available for gaming PC via Steam and GOG.

Bloodrayne and Bloodrayne 2: Terminal Cuts are updated and enhanced versions of the games. Bloodrayne follows the adventures of a red-headed dhampir (half-human and half-vampire), who must stop a madman who wants to use occult relics to bring about a new age of domination for the Third Reich.

Bloodrayne 2, on the other hand, follows her story as she tries to stop her siblings, who are both looking to create a new era of Vampire supremacy.

Bloodrayne and Bloodrayne 2 will receive support for higher display resolution, up to 4K or 3830 x 2160 dpi. It will also feature upscaled cinematic videos and support for modern gamepads. The games have improved renderings with up to 4x anti-aliasing and will support higher texture resolutions, allowing original and uncompressed textures.

Bloodrayne was first released in 2002, while its sequel, Bloodrayne 2, came out in 2004. The series then introduced a revival called Bloodrayne: Betrayal in 2011. However, this downloadable side-scrolling game did not sell well. And as a result, it placed a supposed 3DS title on hold.

Bloodrayne is a third-person shooter video game. Its first game, Bloodrayne, is set in 1933 and 1938 before World War 2. It introduced Rayne as an agent of Brimstone Society, who is sent to various locations and fights supernatural creatures and the Nazi army.

On the other hand, Bloodrayne 2 introduces a plot wherein Rayne confronts her vampire father, Kagan. In this story, Rayne’s half-siblings have banded together to form a group called Cult of Kagan, who plans to create a new era of vampire supremacy.
