IO Interactive Announces Hitman 3: Seven Deadly Sins

Hitman 3 - Seven Deadly Sins

IO Interactive announces a multi-part paid expansion for Hitman 3 titled Seven Deadly Sins. This expansion will be made up of seven new content packs, which are themed around seven deadly sins, including envy, lust, greed, sloth, gluttony, wrath, and pride. Each one of the sin-themed content will feature a visually distinct contract and an unlockable suit. It will also include at least one sin-themed object, which the player can use both in the new contract and across all the missions in the Hitman trilogy.

The Seven Deadly Sins content expansion will be delivered episodically. In fact, the first part of the expansion was launched last March 30. It was called Act 1: Greed and features a new Escalation called The Greed Enumeration.

Seven Deadly Sins – Act 1: Greed is set in Dubai. It will also introduce players to a new feature that will allow them to carry certain special items over each stage of Escalation. Aside from that, players will also be able to unlock a golden Rapacious Suit, Greedy Little Coin, and Devil’s Cane items.

When purchasing the Seven Deadly Sins, players will have two options. The first option is for the player to buy each new Season of Sin pack when it arrives. And the second option is to buy all seven packs as part of the season pass for a discounted price.

IO Interactive explained that the monthly Hitman roadmap will remain intact despite the Seven Deadly Sins release. They will still deliver free content, which includes Featured Contracts, Elusive Targets, and Escalations. However, the monthly set-up will be adjusted due to the format of the Seven Deadly Sins expansion. It is expected that each pack of the Seven Deadly Sins will last anywhere between four and six weeks. Once the first act or season of the sin ends, a new pack or Season of Sin will be launched by the developer. And this new pack will feature a new dose of free content.

Hitman 3 was published on January 20, 2021, for Microsoft Windows gaming pc, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia.
