Resident Evil Re:Verse Delayed to 2022

Capcom officially stated that the multiplayer shooter game, Resident Evil Re: Verse, will be delayed for the second time. It will now have a release date set in 2022.

Resident Evil Re: Verse was first set to launch alongside Resident Evil Village. However, due to circumstances, Capcom decided to move its release date. According to Capcom’s official statement, the decision to delay the game’s release is for the team to continue working on the game to deliver a smooth gameplay experience. After it was initially announced for a May 7 release date, Resident Evil Re: Verse was pushed back to Summer 2021.

Another reason for the delay is probably what happened to the open beta test. It was suspended when testers encountered matchmaking problems. Capcom also stated that they will share more details about the launch of the game at a later date.

A follow-up tweet was eventually published by Resident Evil’s official Twitter account. According to this tweet, players who bought the physical edition of Resident Evil Village, which came with a Re: Verse download code, will be given lost codes once the game arrives next year. Players who will try to type in the code will only be able to track the game’s development.

It is a six-player PvP deathmatch video game that will enable players to take on the roles of characters from the Resident Evil series. In this game, players will be able to test their skills against other players. They will also be able to use terrifying bioweapons to claim their victory.

Resident Evil Re: Verse will feature human characters from the series, including Chris Redfield, Leon Scott Kennedy, HUNK, Jill Valentine, Clair Redfield, and Ada Wong. While for Bioweapons, the game will feature Hunter Gamma, Jack Baker, Nemesis-T Type, Fat Molded, and Tyrant T-103.

The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/Series S, and Microsoft Windows gaming pc.
