Ember Labs has announced that their upcoming action-adventure game, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, will be delayed. But fans don’t have to worry about anything because they will only have to wait for a month. Kena: Bridge of Spirits’ new release date is September 21 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Microsoft Windows gaming pc.
The announcement came via a tweet published by the game’s official Twitter account. The developers cited that the cause for the delay was to give them extra time to ensure that they could provide the best experience possible to the players.
Ember Labs stated that the decision to delay the game’s release was tough. But it is needed as the team needs to polish the game across all platforms. The developers also mentioned that they are working very hard to ensure this. They will use the extra time to deliver the best experience possible to the fans.
The developer also thanked the fans who have shown their eagerness to play the game. They also appreciate their patience with the team as they continue working on the best version of Kena: Bridge of Spirits.
This is not the first time Kena: Bridge of Spirits has been delayed. It was first initially announced to be released towards the end of 2020. But the game was then pushed into a Q1 2021 release date due to the pandemic. But after a while, Ember Labs decided to move the release date again into August 24 for the same reasons.
Kena: Bridge of the Spirits will launch as an exclusive console game on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on September 21. Its PC version will also be released on the same day on Epic Games Store. Although it is not confirmed yet, the game may be available in other digital storefronts and gaming consoles. This will happen once the exclusivity deals with Epic Games Store and PlayStation have lapsed.
