Hoyoverse’s Genshin Impact has finally released its 50th playable character, Kamisato Ayato. He is a Hydro sword-user from Inazuma who leads the Kamisato Clan and the Yashiro Commission with his sister, Ayaka.
Kamisato Ayato is one of the few characters the Traveler has heard of but has never met in the game. People from the Yashiro Commission think highly of him due to his dedication and commitment to maintaining the stability and prosperity of Inazuma.
If you’re planning to pull Ayato from his Limited Character Banner, here are his list of skills so you can understand his role in the game:
Kamisato Art: Marobashi – Normal Attack
As a Normal Attack, Ayato performs up to 5 rapid strikes. As a Charged Attack, it consumes a certain amount of Ayato’s Stamina to allow him to dash forward and perform an attack.
Kamisato Art: Kyouka – Elemental Skill
Ayato enters the Takimeguri Kanka State. He leaves a watery illusion of himself at his original location during this state. This illusion will explode if an opponent is nearby, dealing with AoE Hydro Damage.
Once in this state, Ayato also uses his Shunsuiken to deliver blindingly fast attacks. The effect of Shuinsuiken turns the Damage from his Normal Attacks into AoE Hydro Damage.
The Takimeguri Kanka state will disappear when Ayato leaves the battlefield.
Kamisato Art: Suiyuu – Elemental Burst
Ayato creates a space of Bloomwater Blades, raining down and attacking opponents with its AoE range. Each Bloomwater Blade deals with Hydro Damage and increases Ayato and his allies’ Normal Attack Damage within its field.
Kamisato Art: Michiyuku Hagetsu – Passive Skill 1
If Ayato is not on the battlefield and his Energy is low. This passive skill will cause him to regenerate a set amount of Energy at specific intervals.
Kamisato Art: Mine Wo Matoishi Kiyotaki – Passive Skill 2
When Ayato uses his Elemental Skill, and his watery illusion explodes, he will gain a set amount of Namisen attacks.
Kamisato Art: Daily Cooking – Utility Passive
When Kamisato Ayato cooks a dish perfectly, he will have a set of chances to receive an additional Suspicious dish of the same type.
