Genshin Impact has released the trailer for the upcoming Version 3.1, “King Deshret and the Three Magi.” The new update will arrive on September 28, 2022, and you can watch the video trailer below:
Genshin Impact 3.1 Banners
The new update will bring three new Sumeru characters: Cyno, Candace, and Nilou.
Phase 1 of the update will be bringing the Twilight Arbiter banner, which will feature the new Electro 5-star character, Cyno. Then there will also be the re-run of the Ballad in Goblets’ banner, which will feature the return of the Anemo 5-star character, Venti. Additionally, the new Hydro 4-star character, Candace, will be in in both Cyno and Venti’s banners.
Phase 2 of the 3.1 Update will feature the Twirling Lotus and Secretum Secretorum banners. The Twirling Lotus will feature the new 5-star Hydro character, Nilou. On the other hand, the Secretum Secretorum will feature the return of the Geo 5-star character, Albedo.
Genshin Impact 3.1 Weapons
Aside from new characters, Genshin 3.1 will also bring two new 5-star weapons into the game. These weapons include the 5-star Staff of the Scarlet Sands polearm and the 5-Star Key of Khaj-Nisut sword. They will be featured in both Phase 1 and Phase 2 as the next Epitome Invocation weapon banners.
In addition to these two new 5-star weapons, there will also be three 4-star weapons that are added to the Epitome Invocation pool. These weapons are Xiphos’ Moonlight sword, Wandering Evenstar catalyst, and the Makhaira Aquamarine claymore.
Genshin Impact 3.1 Quests and Events
As part of the Genshin Impact 3.1 update, the game will be getting Act 3 and Act 4 of Chapter 3 Archon Quest for Kusanali, the Dendro Archon of Sumeru. The update will also feature two new Story Quests that will feature Cyno and Nilou.
The game will also feature a new event called “Of Ballads and Brews.” The event will unlock four gameplay modes: Autumn Crisis, Charity and Creativity, Highwind Trial, and Fecund Blessings.
