About The Game: AC Shadows
In Assassins Creed Shadows you’ll live out your ninja and samurai fantasy with the intertwined stories of Naoe and Yasuke. Naoe is an adept shinobi assassin from Iga province, and Yasuke is the powerful African samurai of historical legend.
Set against the backdrop of the turbulent late Sengoku period, this duo will discover their common destiny as they usher in a new era for Japan.
Check out a recent gameplay overview showcasing new mechanics for AC Shadows here. The game looks to be much more stealth focused, allowing you to manipulate lighting much like you would in older Splinter Cell games in order to sneak around. Meanwhile, if stealth isn’t really your game, melee combat looks far more brutal and engaging when playing as Yasuke. Long time fans of the series have been itching for AC to feature a game and Japan – and now that wait is nearly over.
