Best Black Friday Gaming Deals 2014

Black Friday is today. It is the best time of the year to grab a great deal, and retailers have started offering great savings this week. Many of them have great deals on graphics cards, graphics tablets, PCs, games and more. Before you plan to buy, make sure to check out this list of deals we prepared for you, and don’t forget comparison shopping.

Video Consoles:

Over 4,000 GameStop stores open at midnight on November 28 with other locations opening at 5 a.m. The leading specialty video game retailer is reducing the prices of top current gen and next gen games from Electronic Arts, Microsoft, Sony, Disney Interactive and Sega by $20 to $30, and offering bundles like an Xbox One with Assassin’s Creed Unity and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag for $330, a PlayStation 4 with The Last of Us and Grand Theft Auto V for $400 and an Xbox 360 with Call of Duty: Ghosts and Call of Duty: Black Ops II for $200.

Best Buy is offering a $430 Xbox One bundle which includes two Assassin’s Creed games, Dance Central Spotlight and a free controller. The retailer also has a Wii U Super Mario 3D World Bundle with Super Smash Bros. and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze for $360.

Kohl’s, though not known as a video game destination, is also selling a Nintendo 3DS XL Mario Party: Island Tour Bundle for $150.

The Microsoft Store is currently running a promotion (separate from the one announced today) that offers a $100 credit toward a new Xbox One when trading in a working Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3.

Video Games:

Blizzard is having a sale on all of their games on the Battle.net store. These deals are available now through December 2 at midnight PST.

Origin is offering over 200 PC games for sale through their own portal, but the best deals are on EA developed/published games like Titanfall, Mass Effect, and Dead Space.

Amazon has posted their Thanksgiving and Black Friday “lightning deals” calendar which contains a great amount of video games:
