Shinorubi is a vibrantly colored arcade bullet hell/shoot’em up that has high-resolution graphics and offers a great amount of replayability, thanks to its numerous game modes, difficulty levels, and arranged modes.
Since access to precious raw materials have been the cause of armed conflicts for thousands of years. And what could very well be the greatest material of them all, a compound simply called “R-R”, can only be found on one planet. That planet is Shinorubi.
“R-R” grants players who manage to get their hands on it great power, as well as exceptional longevity. That pure energy can be used for good as well as for bad. And for a thousand years, the BAÄA family has ruthlessly ruled over Shinorubi and kept “R-R” to itself. To maintain the status quo, King R.LOYD III has entrusted the protection of the kingdom to his only daughter NEMESIS BAÄA. She leads a team of 5 Generals who will protect the royal family’s interests by any means necessary.
A legend says that the King’s supposedly inviolable sanctuary will open on the solstice happening on the 1000th year anniversary of his family’s reign. And that a team of 8 rebellious former members of his army will try to use this unique opportunity to finally seize “R-R” and put an end to the madness. Players will play as one of those rebels.
Show off your amazing piloting skills by dodging numerous enemy shots and breaking through ground and air defenses. You start at full power from the beginning and will have to defeat powerful bosses in the persons of the cruel generals of the tyrannical army on your way to free Shinorubi. The game offers a fast-paced arcade action pack with great replayability thanks to the many available difficulty levels, multiple Arrange modes, and spaceships to pilot.
Playable with a keyboard, a joystick, and a customizable arcade controller, Shinorubi offers up to 4K resolution and features precise gameplay, a rich scoring system, and a fever bar that can be activated to cancel all shots on screen. The collection of available modes offers action, fun, challenges and above all immense replayability for all!
Pass the incredibly challenging 1CC challenge (credit clear) in the story mode, fight only the bosses in the dedicated mode, or take advantage of the Arrange modes. You can also extend your enjoyment and discover new ways to play Shinorubi.
Shoot the cute little pink pigs, get a shield, eliminate marked ships to clear the shots on screen, embark on an endless raid, alternate your shot types to defeat your enemies, or set your difficulty level in real-time. Red Art Games is proud to announce that it will bring Shinorubi to Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One and PC (via Steam) in early 2023.
On PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, Shinorubi’s resolution will go up to 4K while its framerate will go up to 120 fps (on compatible screens).
Information regarding physical versions of Shinorubi will come at a later date.

SHIELD: Use a shield to protect against enemy fire.
