It was back in August 2015 during The International Season 5 All-Star Match when Valve’s Erik Johnson hinted the release of Pit Lord and Arc Warden, the last two major heroes from the original DotA game. As we all know it, Arc Warden was released during the Winter Update. And now that the International 6 has already started, we all await the release of the last original DotA hero, Azgalor.

There are many speculations as to why the Pit Lord or Abyssal Underlord has not yet been released in the game. Some say Abyssal Underlord will play a big role in a cinematic film that showcases all the original DotA heroes while other say they are delaying the release because he’s the last hero that Valve has in store. As of now, though, there are videos circulating on the web of Abyssal Underlord’s in-game look and skills.
