Mechs VS Minions – League’s First Board Game

It’s official, after weeks of speculation, RioT will be releasing its first board game called “Mechs VS Minions.” According to RioT, Mechs VS Minions is a cooperative tabletop game for two to four players. The board game setting takes place on Runeterra. Players can take on the roles of Yordle champions: Corki, Tristana, Heimerdinger, and Ziggs.

The game is a programmatic, cooperative, and campaign-based tabletop game. According to the game’s storyline, Rumble invited four of the bravest Yordles to his school, to learn how to program and pilot his newly-crafted mechas. However, an army of marauding minions appeared on the scene, threatening the safety of Runeterra. The Yordles must now face the menace, and work together to stop them from destroying Runeterra.

Mechs VS Minions will feature ten missions, with each mission taking about 60-90 minutes to complete.

The box will include:

  • five game boards
  • four command lines for each player
  • four painted mech miniatures
  • ability and damage decks
  • a sand timer
  • a bomb-like power source miniature
  • six metal trackers
  • four acrylic shards
  • four dice
  • and 100 minion miniatures.
