It was in June when Activision first announced that Game of Thrones’ actor, Kit Harington, will be appearing as the main villain in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. In the latest trailer of the game, released last week, Activision finally showed us the first glimpse of Kit Harington as the antagonist Admiral Salen Kotch.

“He’s a madman,” Kit Harington described his character during an interview at last month’s Comic Con. “He’s an invading commander; he’s someone who wants to control the whole race of people and feels that he’s entitled to do that.”

Rear Admiral Salen Kotch will be the main antagonist in the latest Call of Duty game. He is the leader of the antagonist faction, Settlement Defense Front (SDF), and the commander of the starship Olympus Mons. The newest trailer talks about how SDF, being isolated and bitter, has turned themselves against the people of Earth. Now, they see themselves off as “the true inheritors of the solar systems”, and that true victory can only be achieved if they can finally destroy Earth and start with a clean slate.

Aside from Harington, we’ll also see UFC champ Conor McGregor as Captain Bradley Fillion, a member of SDF and defector of the United Nations Space Alliance. The trailer includes other familiar faces such as Brian Bloom as the hero Captain Nick Reyes, Claudia Christian as Captain Ferran, and Jamie Gray Hyder as Lieutenant Nora Salter.

In the game, players will take the role of Captain Nick Reyes, a soldier who unintentionally ends up commanding  Retribution. Together with a small numbers of soldiers, he must do his best to stop Admiral Kotch from taking over the world.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is an upcoming FPS video game set to be released on November 4, 2016 for Microsoft Windows PC and gaming laptops. It is developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. As of now, the game is nominated as the “Best Action Game” in the Game Critics Awards 2016.
