With school just around the corner or starting up for many, now is the time to be looking for a brand new laptop: one that not only fulfills your every day work and school needs, but that also has the power to allow you to kick back and relax with some games.
Today we are going to give you a deeper looker at our latest line up of Tracer V Laptops. Within the Tracer V lineup are 3 different models. We have our Tracer V Gaming, Tracer V Edge, and Tracer V Edge Pro. Each model packs in some different features, so let’s take a look at the difference between these various models. On top of that all of these different models are available in either 15.6 inch or 17.3 inch variations.
Let’s begin with a look at the Tracer V Gaming. Right off the bat you’ll notice a nice crisp 2560x1440p IPS QHD Display with a refresh rate that goes up to 165 Hz. Internally you can opt for either an AMD or Intel based system. The Intel system uses an Intel Core i7-11800H paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060. On the other hand you have the AMD model, which uses the AMD Ryzen 7 4800h with an RTX 3060 as well.
With the Edge and Edge Pro versions, you’ll instantly notice a much thinner chassis the Tracer V gaming variants. The laptop chassis itself is made out of thin and sturdy aluminum, making it a much lighter and more portable option. Who said you had to slug around a backpack that feels like it’s filled with bricks! Another great aspect of the aluminum chassis is that the aluminum itself stays cool to the touch, even when pushing the laptop with intense work or games. Just as with the Tracer V gaming series, the Edge and Edge Pro come in both AMD and Intel variants. They feature the same CPUs mentioned above. An added benefit of the Edge and Edge Pro is the ability to opt to upgrade to either the RTX 3070 or RTX 3080. These beefier GPUs are available in the 17.3 inch variation of the Edge and Edge Pro. Both models have a battery life of 10 hours on the 15.6 inch and 8 hours on the 17.3 inch.
The Edge Pro has some nice added touches over the standard Edge model. The Pro version comes with a nice low profile tactile mechanical keyboard, which makes for a more enjoyable typing experience. That’s not to say typing on the standard Edge model is a poor experience, the keyboard still features an enjoyable typing experience that you would expect on a premium laptop.
All of the above mentioned laptops come with plenty of connectivity ports, which are fully detailed on their respective product pages on our website if you want to take a look at all of what is available. Additionally all Tracer V Models come with a built in 720p webcam and microphone, so you are covered for any Zoom meetings and virtual classes you may need to attend! For storage and memory, well that’s up to you! Our website allows you to select how much of both you would like installed on the laptop. All Tracer V laptops support up to 32 GB of RAM as well as up to 4TB of PCIe NVMe SSD storage.
Tracer V laptops deliver on the dream of having a device that is not only slim and portable, but also has the computing power you need for both intensive work and academic applications, as well as the power for the latest demanding PC games.
Preconfigured Tracer V laptops are available at our retailers across the US (Best Buy, Amazon, and much more!), while customizable Tracer V’s are available over on our website.
