Best VR Gaming PCs from CyberPowerPC

VR has enabled us gamers to further immerse and experience the world of the video games we play. While most people spend their time and resources building a gaming PC that can run VR games. Not everyone actually has the technical skills to do the same. Good is that there are pre-built and configurable gaming PCs in the market that are VR-ready.

CyberPowerPC has pre-built and configurable VR-ready gaming PCs. You can easily plug in your VR headset and start playing.

What to Look for in a VR Gaming PC?

When buying a pre-built or configurable VR gaming PC, there are different parts and specifications you should look into and consider. But here are some of the basics:

Graphics Card (GPU)

The graphics card is one of the critical parts of your system when it comes to VR gaming. It will also be the most taxed component when running a VR game and displaying it on your VR headset. Thus, looking for a VR gaming PC with a powerful graphics card is important.

When looking for a GPU model, stick to the 30 series of NVIDIA, such as the 3060, 3070, and 3090. These NVIDIA graphics card models can handle running modern games. If you prefer an AMD Radeon graphics card, look for models in the 6000 series or higher. Remember that the higher the series number, the more powerful the graphics card.

Processor (CPU)

The processor or CPU is the core component of your system as it is responsible for executing and running programs. Similar to GPUs, when checking for a processor or CPU model, the higher the series number, the more powerful it is. When it comes to Intel, look for models no less than the Intel Core i5. It’s also best to choose an Intel CPU with a “K” at the end of its model number, as this indicates that it can be overclocked. For AMD Ryzen processors, go for a model starting from 5 and beyond.

Memory (RAM)

While most games and VR headsets in the market require 8GB RAM to run, you won’t be able to do much. Look for a gaming PC with a RAM specification of no less than 16GB. The better it is if you can find a unit with 32GB RAM. This will provide more power for your system to run multiple programs simultaneously.

Storage Device

An ideal gaming PC for VR should have both an SSD and HDD drive or a combo drive setup. In this setup, the operating system and all the necessary programs are installed on the SSD, while the HDD stores user files. However, if that’s beyond your budget, the least thing you can do is choose a VR gaming PC with a 1TB SSD or higher.
