Dishonored was first released on 2012 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles. The game follows the story of Corvo Attano who seeks revenge on the people who betrayed him. The same people who framed him for the murder of the Empress of the Isles. To complete his mission, he is aided by a resistance group called the Loyalists, and the Outsider who helps him by giving him magical abilities.

It was on June 2015 when Bethesda announced the development of its sequel, Dishonored 2. The sequel game will feature Corvo Attano and Emily Kaldwin as playable characters. The sequel is set fifteen years after the Dunwall Plague. It is when the Empire plunged into chaos after Empress Emily was dethroned by a dangerous usurper. To get back the throne, she will follow the steps of her protector, Corvo Attano, and become an assassin.
At the E3 conference, Bethesda finally showed everyone the actual footage of its gameplay. As seen in the video, the majority of the game will take place in the brutal city of Karnaca. You can either play as Corvo or Emily in the sequel. Both characters will have different approaches and different sets of skills and powers. Plus, Dishonored 2 will let you go through the game without any supernatural powers. This means you can reject the powers offered by the Outsider.
As stated earlier, Emily will come with a different set of powers which includes “Far Reach”. This is a skill that lets her travel to places without any physical movement. Another skill she has is the Shadow Walk. It allows her to turn into a shadowy cloud that can swiftly move through the room. The game will also allow players to choose various factions in the world, or stay impartial.
Dishonored 2 is scheduled to be released for Microsoft Windows, PS4 and Xbox One in November 2016. The game is currently available in pre-order on Steam for gaming PC and PC gaming consoles.
