Canadian video game developer Bioware has announced the demo launch of their upcoming game Anthem at the Pax West 2018. During the panel, Anthem developers confirmed that the demo game will launch on February 1, 2019, for XBox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows gaming PCs.

Anthem Lead Producer Mike Gamble has described the demo as a slice of the real game, and not just a tech test or beta.

The demo release will be launched three weeks ahead than the game’s full release. This means that the demo will feature the final product and will not be a beta test. Although no details were further revealed about the demo game, including the size of its content. But many speculate that it will showcase the game’s opening hours which may include character selection, game’s introduction, and tutorials. Such features are enough to give players a glimpse of the game’s massive open-world environment.
