The developers of the Blair Witch game and Layers of Fear, Bloober Team, has finally teased its new game. It is a cyberpunk horror game they called Observer: System Redux, which intended to be released to Microsoft Windows gaming PC and next-gen consoles.
The game was teased in a tweet alongside a short teaser trailer. Although the company hasn’t fully released the details of the new title, the art style seems to imply that it is a remaster of the original 2017 cyberpunk horror game.
The 2017 Observer game starred the late Rutger Hauer, which takes on the role of a detective that is investigating mysterious events in a terrifying apartment block.
To further explain the game, the main character is named Daniel Lazarski, a detective who is also known as the Observer. He has the ability to hack people’s minds as a method to interrogate his suspects. He can also employ augmented vision to investigate his surroundings.
The 2017 Observer was named as one of the best horror games of that year. It is also considered as one of the 25 scariest games of the current console generation.
Since the 2017 Observer game was launched on all major platforms, fans predict that Observer: System Redux is likely to be released for both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
