It’s confirmed that Borderlands 3 is now available on Google Stadia’s streaming platform. However, it is not the up-to-date version of the game.

Publisher 2K announced that Borderlands 3’s launch on Stadia would only include patches and updates for the game that were released on or before October 24. This means that the Borderlands 3 Stadia consists of the latest contents, such as the Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite and the Moxxi Heist of the Handsome Jackpot. Both of these are said to arrive on Stadia in 2020.

Its developer also stated that the game’s Stadia version will be missing some of the improvements that were made in the gaming pc version. These include the bosses having loot pools, bank storage expansion, and the Mayhem 4 difficult level.

Good news though, Borderlands 3 Stadia’s version will both have the Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition. The standard costs $38.99, while the deluxe costs around $51.99.

Publisher 2K also said that the discount lasts until January 7, and is only available in Google Stadia.
