It looks like a new Resident Evil game is currently in the works, much to the delight of the series’ fans. A new Resident Evil Ambassadors program email was sent last week, informing the members that testing will begin soon for an unannounced title.

A part of the email stated that as limited offers to the ambassadors, Capcom will send out invitations to a playtest session of their unannounced title and priority seats at their game show booth.

It is possible that Capcom may be referring to a major trade show for next year since all game trade shows for this year are done.

Aside from the invitation, the email also announced four new ranks in their Ambassador Program and four new different types of Ambassador Cards. A new update to the program’s terms and services will also happen next year.

The last time Capcom had sent an email to Resident Evil Ambassadors, informing members of two unannounced titles. Those two games turned out to be Project Resistance: Resident Evil and the upcoming Resident Evil 3 Remake. Both games will also be released next year for Microsoft Windows gaming PC.

Project Resistance, on the other hand, is a co-op shooting video game that is set in the Resident Evil universe. It was first released in Japan as an arcade video game, but will now be re-introduced for Microsoft Windows PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
