Crytek has finally announced the Crysis Remastered for Microsoft Windows gaming PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. This makes it the first Crysis game to ever appear on a Nintendo console.
The remastered version of the game will also be co-developed by Saber Interactive. According to developers, the Crysis Remastered features improved graphics as well as optimizations for current generation consoles.
These changes include high-quality textures, temporal anti-aliasing, SSDO, SVOGI, motion blur, particle effects, and new light settings. They also confirmed that the game would even have a software-based ray tracing.
The Crysis official website has now updated its page, showing the Crysis Remastered logo. Upon clicking the logo, it will lead you to a new site that also features the new artwork of the game.
A description of the remastered game can also be seen on the new website. It talks of the return of Crytek’s ground-breaking and critically acclaimed first-person shooter game. It also announces the game’s release for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch — marking the game’s debut on a Nintendo platform.
Crytek has not officially released the launch date for Crysis Remastered, but fans say that it could either be launched by the end of this year or early next year.
