CyberPowerPC is excited to announce the CyberPowerPC 2017 Extreme Gaming Series, presented by Intel. We’ve teamed up with CEVO to make the series a success for participants as well as viewers. The series is a North American exclusive esports tournament series which features games such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch, and PLAYERRUNKNOWN’s BATTLEGROUNDS spanning across nine online weekend tournaments in 2017. The series will have more than $75,000 in cash prizes for the participating teams and players to win as well as giveaways, promotions, and contests for viewers and fans to win awesome prizes from our sponsors. Two of our tournaments will be open to the public to enter for a chance to compete in a final tournament held at the end of the series. All of our tournaments will be live streamed on our Twitch channel with some of the best casters from CEVO.
Tournament Information
The series will kick off with our $5K Overwatch Spring Invitational with some of the best North American Overwatch teams. Among our participants are the top four seeds of FaZe Clan, Cloud9, Immortals, and LG Evil. They will be playing matches against Rise Nation, Splyce, NRG eSports, and Counter Logic Gaming on Saturday, May 6th with the semifinals, third place match, and finals taking place on Sunday, May 7th. First place will take away half of the prize pool with $2,500, second will receive $1,750, and third will grab themselves $750. Giveaways and Prediction Contest
In addition to watching the tournaments, viewers and fans will have several chances to win some awesome gear and swag through our giveaway powered by Intel, Western Digital, and Corsair. Also, we will have a prediction contest for bracket prediction enthusiasts. The prize for prediction match outcomes correctly will be some cool CyberPowerPC swag.
