The sci-fi action-adventure game from CD Projekt Red, Cyberpunk 2077, is scheduled to be released on September 17, 2020 for gaming PC. Because of the circumstances, its initial April release was pushed to a later date. But despite all of these, CD Projekt Red announced that the game will receive an additional post-launch DLC.
The announcement was announced by the company’s president Adam Kicinski during the recent financial quarter report. Kicinski revealed additional details about Cyberpunk 2077’s DLC, which includes its game mode, length, and announcement window.
According to the details Kicinski revealed, the post-launch DLC is said to feature a multiplayer mode. He also said that players can expect a DLC size with a length as big as Witcher 3. There are comments that its game length would be as long as the Blood and Wine and Hearts of Stone DLC combined. This means that the DLC’s overall gaming time will fall around 40 hours.
As to when the DLC will be launched, Kicinski stated that the gamers should expect a similar scenario to what they did for The Witcher 3. In the past, the company announced the two DLC for The Witcher 3 a week before the game was launched.
It could be safe to predict that CD Projekt Red would announce the DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 shortly before the game’s official release.
The company is currently developing the game as of now, polishing it before its release. Furthermore, CD Projekt Red also announced that the developers added lore details in the game.
