Video game studio THQ Nordic together with Mimimi Games, has announced and confirmed the release date of Desperados 3, which will be on June 16, 2020.
Desperados 3 is the third entry in the long-dormant Desperados series and will be launched for Microsoft Windows gaming PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The new game will have both the standard and deluxe editions.
The digital deluxe edition is now offered for pre-order at the same price as the standard edition, for $49.99. Desperados 3 will also have a collector’s edition and will feature three post-launch DLC packs as well as physical items. The collector’s edition is priced at $109.99.
Instead of a sequel, Desperados 3 serves as a prequel to 2001’s Desperados: Wanted or Alive. The game features a Wild-West themed setting and strategic tactics gameplay, which is played from an isometric perspective.
The player gets to control a team of five gunslingers in their gang, each having their unique abilities and skills to help hold your ground in six-shooter showdowns.
The developer also explained that Desperados 3 will have an emphasis on stealth attacks, but also promised fans that blazing guns will also be a valid option.
Desperados 3 is developed by Mimimi Games and published by THQ Nordic. It is now available to pre-purchase on Steam.
