Dota 2 Reveals Two New Heroes

Know the new 2 heroes of DOTA 2

Valve has finally revealed the two new heroes for their globally popular MOBA game, Dota 2. The first hero to be announced was Snapfire, a cool goblin grandma who rides a dragon while flinging cookies and firing her shotgun. And joining her in the roster is Void Spirit, the fourth Spirit brother, following Ember Spirit, Earth Spirit, and Storm Spirit.

Both heroes were unveiled during The International 2019, where OG won and claimed the biggest esports prize in the history of Dota tournaments. Snapfire and Void Spirit are expected to arrive in the game between September to November. Void Spirit will also be coming to auto battler Dota Underlords.

Many fans are already excited about the two new heroes, intrigued by their in-game abilities. For example, in the teaser trailer, Snapfire could be seen baking cookies and then throwing them to her allies, possibly healing them or giving them a buff. She is also seen riding her fire-breathing lizard on a saddle with a mounted machine gun. And on top of that, she also carries a shotgun.

Void Spirit, on the other hand, is a hero that fans have been speculating on for years. With the existence of three Spirit heroes, namely Ember Spirit, Earth Spirit, and Storm Spirit, fans have been thinking about the idea of a fourth Spirit hero. And thus the creation of Void Spirit.

Void Spirit apparently seems to control the astral plane, allowing him to travel anywhere he wants. He also wields a double-sided energy sword radiating some kind of dark energy.

Snapfire and Void Spirit will come to Dota 2 as part of The Outlanders update. No further details were released yet as to when the update will be available on Steam for Microsoft Windows gaming PC.
