First Street Fighter V Live Demonstration at Capcom Cup

At this year’s Capcom Cup pro tournament, the first ever Street Fighter V match was demonstrated live, revealed two characters of this latest but not-yet-released title of Street Fighter franchise, Chun Li and Ryu.

Street Fighter is a series of fighting games by Capcom. The game’s playable characters originate from around the world, each with his or her own unique fighting style. It is Capcom’s second best-selling franchise, enjoying significant success all around the world.

On December 5, 2014, a teaser trailer for Street Fighter V was released by Capcom to the public, which mentioned that the game would be exclusive to PlayStation 4 and PC, and will enable cross-platform gameplay. The official announcement was made at Sony’s PlayStation Experience event on December 6.

And yesterday, Capcom complete its Capcom Cup finals with a live demonstration of Street Fighter V. The live demo was followed up with an extended version of last week’s trailer, revealing the next character to join the roster, the blond and bespectacled Charlie.

However, the game’s exclusivity wasn’t addressed at Capcom Cup yesterday. And most likely, Street Fighter V will remain a PlayStation 4- and PC-only title.
