After a long week, Friday’s finally here, and can only mean one thing: Fortnite Fridays are today!

So what is Fortnite Friday? It’s a weekly online tournament co-hosted by UMG Events and YouTube Channel DramaAlert’s host Daniel “KEEMSTAR” Keem, in which 32 teams of duos battle it out for a $20,000 prize pool. To make things interesting, the tournament has a double elimination format, which allows teams that lose in the winners’ bracket to grind their way back to the top through the losers’ bracket. The tournament has been streamed to massive success, with millions of viewers watching every week.

Each tournament is brimming with famous Fortnite players, the likes of which include Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, Turner “Tfue” Tenney, Ali “Myth” Kabbani, and many more. With so many top caliber players within the tournament, Fortnite Friday brings together some of the most anticipated matchups ever.

One example would be Week 5’s Grand Final, in which two of Esports’ biggest organizations — FaZe Clan and TSM — faced off, with FaZe players Tfue and Dennis “Cloak” Lepore defeating TSM’s Daequan “Daequan” Loco and Juan “CaMiLLs” Camilla.

Based on past tournaments and recent results, the current favorites to win today are no other than FaZe Tfue and FaZe Cloak, who not only won last week’s tournament, but have won an impressive 3 of the 7 tournaments hosted so far. But with so much talent within the tournament, anything is bound to happen. Time will tell whether FaZe can keep up their success today.

How to Watch: All 64 participating players in the tournament will be streaming during the tournament through their individual POVs, but you can also watch through UMG’s own Twitch channel.
