Following the incredible rocket launch on June 30th, the long-anticipated Fortnite Season 5 is finally here — and it certainly hasn’t disappointed. All the mystery and speculation  surrounding the massive crack in the sky has now been answered, and without further ado, lets get right into what Epic Games has brought into Fortnite.

All Terrain Kart (ATK): The first legitimate vehicle in Fortnite, this all new golf cart can fit an entire squad of 4 players and features a bunch of cool abilities (gives you a speed boost after drifting, roof acts as a bounce pad, allows rear passengers to leap over obstacles when leaning back and releasing)

New Map Changes: Moisty Mire has been completely replaced by a Desert biome-themed area called Paradise Palms, which features things like a racetrack, oases, desert mountains, and lots and lots of palm trees. In addition to Paradise Palms, a new location named Lazy Links has replaced Anarchy Acres, which stars a mansion-like house that comes fully equipped with a pool, tables with umbrellas, and a garage.

Rifts: These crystal-looking objects are found randomly throughout the map, and they teleport you to a nearby location high above the ground, allowing you to drop and re parachute to wherever you want. It’s a really great option when you’re stuck in the storm, or if you’re stuck in a tough spot and want to reposition.

Artifacts: As seen in the Season 5 Announce Trailer, objects and players have been d from unknown places and time periods, some of those objects including statues and a Viking ship. They’re now scattered throughout the map, so keep an eye out for them during games!

Moreover, weekly challenges now come in two sections, free and Battle Pass. The first three challenges can be played for free, while the other four are only playable through Battle Pass.
