After a delay, the much anticipated Genshin Impact 2.7 was finally released last May 31, 2022. The update has finally introduced a new five-star character in the game named Yelan. She is a mysterious Hydro-bow user who the Traveler met in the Chasm. According to her story, she claims to work for the Ministry of Civil Affairs in Liyue.

Who is Yelan?
Yelan’s true identity has always been a mystery, even to the people of Liyue. She is described as a phantom, often appearing in various guises at the center of events, and disappears once everything has calmed down.
According to stories, everyone has met a Yelan with a different name and identity. And while some of them think they can reach a partnership with her, they only find themselves kept in the dark no matter how hard they try.
What are Yelan Skills?
Stealthy Bowshot – Normal Attack
After a few seconds out of combat, Yelan enters a Breakthrough State which will cause her next charged aimed shot to have a decreased charge time. Once set, she can fire a Breakthrough Barb, which deals AoE Hydro Damage.
Lingering Lifeline – Elemental Skill
Upon pressing or holding this skill button, Yelan will rush using her lifeline and mark enemies along her way. This lifeline will explode and deal Hydro Damage to all marked targets when her rapid move ends.
Yelan will also have a fixed change to reset her Breakthrough State based on the number of enemies she managed to mark.
Depth-Clarion Dice – Elemental Burst
Yelan deals AoE Hydro Damage and creates a wondrous stack, which aids her in battle. These dice will follow her around and initiate coordinated attacks whenever she uses her normal attack or when the lifeline explodes and hits opponents.
