Genshin Impact Version 2.1 arrived on the game last September 1. The newest update is bringing new characters to the game, as well as new weapons, new in-game features, and events that include rewards. Not only that, but the Version 2.1 update will also introduce new locations for players to explore and new bosses to fight.
Here’s are the things coming in Genshin Impact Version.21 Update:
NEW CHARACTERS
Raiden Shogun
Raiden Shogun is the vessel of Baal, the Electro Archon, and the Almighty Shogun of the Inazuma. As a playable character, she holds an Electro-vision. She uses a polearm as her weapon, which turns into a sword to show her ultimate power, the Musou no Hitotachi.
Raiden Shogun is a five-star character and will be the third Archon to be a playable character in the game, following Venti and Zhongli.
Sangonomiya Kokomi
Sangonomiya Kokomi is known as the Divine Priestess of Watatsumi Island. She is also the leader of the Sangonomiya Resistance. According to her people, she is a wise and resourceful leader who is a great military strategist.
As a playable character, Sangonomiya Kokomi has a Hydro vision and uses a catalyst as her weapon. And unlike other characters in the game, she won’t have any Crit Rate and Crit Damage stat. Instead, she will be given a Healing Bonus stat.
Kujou Sara
Kujou Sara is the General of the Tenryou Commission and is described as a tengu warrior with dark wings and uses her bow as a weapon. She swears her loyalty to the Raiden Shogun and supports the Vision Hunt Decree. Kujou Sara will be a 4-star character, which holds an Electro vision and is released alongside Raiden Shogun.
NEW WEAPONS
There will be four new weapons introduced in the game.
- Engulfing Lighting – is a five-star polearm described as the perfect weapon for Raiden Shogun.
- Everlasting Moonglow – is a five-star catalyst designed for Sangonomiya Kokomi.
- The Catch – is a four-star polearm.
- Luxurious Sea-Lord – is a four-star claymore that resembles a fish.
NEW BOSSES
There will be new enemies introduced in Genshin Impact Version 2.1:
- Signora – will be a weekly boss. She is one of the Eight Fatui Harbingers.
- Hydro Hypostasis – is a new boss from the Hypostasis family.
- Thunder Manifestation – is a new boss that resembles the Hydro Oceanid in Qingce Village.
NEW LOCATIONS
The new update will unlock two new islands in Inazuma:
- Watatsumi Island
- Serai Island
NEW EVENTS
Genshin Impact 2.1 will introduce new events to give players rewards. These events include:
- Moonchase Festival
- Lunar Realm
- Hyakunin Ikki
- Spectral Secrets
- Anniversary Event
NEW IN-GAME FEATURE
There will be a new in-game feature that will allow players to go fishing. Players will also be able to collect ornamental fish, which they can place in a piece of new furniture on the Serenitea Pot.
