Genshin Impact Version 2.3 will soon arrive on gaming PC and consoles this November 22. The update is expected to release two new Geo characters, including Arataki Itto (5-star character) and Gorou (4-star character). Both characters are from Inazuma and have interesting backgrounds and lore.

Arataki Itto is an upcoming Geo 5-star character who is part oni and the leader of the Arataki Gang. He is likely a descendant of Arataki of the Front Gate, a famous martial artist in Inazuman history. In his official character introduction, Genshin Impact describes Arataki Itto as an intrepid man with Oni blood running through his veins. Arataki Itto is as fast as the wind and mighty as the thunder.
In the game, Inazuman characters have told stories about Itto. He was a Vision-bearer who had his Vision confiscated after being defeated by Kujou Sara from the Tenryou Commission. Since their battle, Arataki Itto has sought a rematch and even follows her throughout various islands on the archipelago. He also proclaims his intent to fight Kujou Sara on every single bulletin board across Inazuma.
Gorou

Gorou is an upcoming Geo 4-star character. He is part of Sangonomiya Resistance against Baal’s Vision Hunt Decree. During a cinematic scene, Gorou can be seen wielding a bow. According to the game’s official character description, Gorou is a loyal and brave general of Watatsumi island. He is born with a beast-like fighting intuition and tenacious will. He always finds a way to victory even when he is in the most critical moments.
For Gorou, kindness and loyalty are the representation of virtue. He is the brawn of the resistance forces. He is the character that stands his ground in combat and becomes more fierce throughout the battle. Kaedehara Kazuha is one of Gorou’s friends.
