Gotham Knights Get Delayed to 2022

Gotham Knights

WB Games Montreal announces that its co-op Batman game, Gotham Knights, has been delayed until 2022. The game was supposed to be released this year, but that seems to be no longer the case.

The announcement was released on Gotham Knight’s official Twitter account. According to it, Gotham Knight will now launch worldwide in 2022. The development team explained that they are giving the game more time to deliver the best possible experience for the players. The team also thanked their fans for their tremendous support for Gotham Knights. They also revealed that they will be showcasing more of the game in the coming months.

Gotham Knights is an action RPG game based on DC Comic characters Batman and its supporting characters. It was first revealed in August 2020 at the DC FanDome. It will be released for Microsoft Windows gaming PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

In Gotham Knights, the player can choose to play as either Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl, and Red Hood, who all have gone their separate ways after Batman’s supposed death. Together, they must work to restore justice to Gotham and prevent the city from descending into chaos. The game will also support a two-player co-op, so you can invite a friend online to join you in your adventures in an open-world Gotham City.

Throughout the game, the players will come into conflict with the secret criminal society called the Court of Owls. The player and the team will have to fight them and their legion of brainwashed assassins they call Talons.

Every four characters in this game — Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl, and Red Hood — have their own unique playstyle and abilities. For example, Robin each character can teleport via the Justice League’s satellite. Players can also level up their characters, but enemies will level up as well. The player can explore Gotham City using the Batcycle.

Gotham Knights are the most-awaited successor to Batman Arkham.
