To celebrate the release of the DC’s latest superhero movie Justice League 2, NetherRealm Studios Injustice 2 are releasing Justice League skins and events. The game will roll out special challenges in its Multiverse mode for players to finish for a limited time to gain the new gears.

Previously, Injustice 2 already has a Gal Gadot version of Wonder Woman to coincide with the character’s solo firm which was released last May. Now, the new gears include costumes for Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Cyborg, inspired by their film counterparts. While the Batman and the Flash look exactly like their movie counterparts, Aquaman and Cyborg design are less movie-accurate on the console version. But the mobile game does allow the two heroes to look like Jason Momoa and Ray Fisher’s version.

For fans who’ve been asking whether the game will also release a Superman version, well as the character is seemingly absent during the film’s marketing, Injustice 2 seems no different. Although we’re not sure if they are planning to release a new costume design for Superman.

For those who want to check out the new costumes, Injustice 2 is a fighting video game from Netherrealm Studios and is published by Warner Bros. for Microsoft Windows gaming PCs, Sony PS 4 and XBox One consoles as well as for iOS and Android mobile devices.

The core gameplay of Injustice 2 is similar to its predecessor with minor adjustments to its returning game mechanics. It also introduces a new feature called the Gear System, which is a loot-dropping system which rewards players with pieces of costume and equipment that they can use to customize the hero’s appearance and modify their abilities as well as stats.

In its storyline, Injustice 2 centers around Batman and his attempt to restore society after the fall of Superman’s regime. However, he is faced with new adversaries including the newly formed villain group called “The Society” and the alien entity known as “The Brainiac.” This eventually leads him to reconsider freeing the imprisoned Superman to help him.
