EA Games have announced that the Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning will be released on August 18, 2020, for Windows gaming PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
The game was first leaked on the Microsoft Store. It is a remastered version of the Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning that was released in 2013.
Amalur: Re-Reckoning is said to include all of the first game’s DLC, such as the Teeth of Naros and Legend of Dead Kel. It will also feature an improved graphical fidelity.
The game is based on a book written by New York Times’ best-selling author R.A. Salvatore. It was developed by Todd McFarlane, creator of Spawn, and Ken Rolston, the lead designer of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is a 2012 action RPG video game. Players can choose from four playable races, including Almain (civilized human), Dokkalfar (dark elves), Ljosalfar (light elves), and Varani (nomadic humans).
The game was originally developed by 38 Studios, formerly Green Monster Games and was published by EA Games. THQ Nordic then bought the property in 2018 after 38 Studios filed for bankruptcy, with EA still owning publishing rights.
