Riot has finally revealed Urgot’s champion rework which includes his new look and his new set of abilities. Now known as Urgot the Dreadnought, he was once a Noxian Headsman. After being betrayed by Swain, Urgot discovered that real strength comes from pain. And from there, he revels in the chaos of suffering, augmenting machinery to his body.

With his new found strength, Urgot seeks to destroy the leaders of Zaun.

Let’s check out his Urgot’s abilities:

ABILITIES

Passive: Echoing Flames

Echoing Flames

Each of Urgot’s six legs conceals a shotgun which covers an arc, which then forms a full circle of cover around him. Each of these shotguns has one shell and an individual reload timer.

When Urgot hits an enemy in the direction of one of his legs with a basic attack, that leg will automatically blast flames outward, deal physical damage to all enemies in a cone.

Q: Corrosive Charge

Corrosive Charge

When activated, Urgot launches a canister at the target location which will then explode after a brief delay. The attack will deal physical damage and slow all enemies hit for one second.

W: Purge

Purge

In its passive state, Urgot’s other abilities apply Purge to enemy champions for a few seconds.

When activated, Urgot will then shield himself and autonomously attacks the nearest enemy for the next 4 seconds, prioritizing enemy champions marked for Purging. During this skill, Urgot also gains slow resistance.

E: Disdain

Disdain

After a brief delay, Urgot dashes in a direction, dealing physical damage to all enemies in his way and knocking them aside. Urgot will come to a stop upon colliding with an enemy champion, stunning them for a second and flinging them over himself.

R: Fear Beyond Death

Fear Beyond Death

Urgot’s ultimate skill, Fear Beyond Death, allows him to fire a chem-drill beacon which can impale the first enemy champion hit, locking them and dealing physical damage. It can also slow them by up to 75% movement speed for 3 seconds.

If the targets fall below 25% health while impaled with the beacon, Urgot may recast the ability by lashing out with chains, suppressing the target and dragging them in for executions. If the enemy died, Urgot automatically “fears” all nearby enemies for one and half seconds.
