League of Legends Releases Elderwood Gnar and Elderwood Rek’Sai

Elderwood Gnar

League of Legends has added two new champions on the Elderwood skin-line: Elderwood Gnar and Elderwood Rek’Sai. The Elderwood skins are under the Eclipse theme alongside General Eclipse, Death Blossom, and Coven.

The theme features the champions of League of Legends as forest inhabitants, evil witches, monastic knights, and gods from the old world.

Check out these two new skins from the Elderwood theme:

Elderwood Gnar

According to the lore, stories have long been told that there is a monster that stalks the wood. And this monster is said to render massive oak trees asunder with its bare hands. Unbeknownst to many, this titan also happens to be a small and curious creature. He collects baubles and bones and loves to chitter through treetops. For those foolish enough to wander the woods, what will happen to them depends on which Gnar they meet.

Elderwood Gnar has eight chromas: citrine, pearl, rose quartz, obsidian, sapphire, ruby, and tanzanite. Unlike his original model, Gnar has heterochromia in this new look. He also bears a resemblance to Pokemon’s Cubone. This skin gives Gnar’s a new model design with completely different textures. He also gets new VFX and SFX, as well as a new animation.

Elderwood Rek’Sai

There have been talks that spore-fiends stalk the deepest parts of the forest. And that a monster named Rek’Sai is the brood mother from which all the other monsters came. And according to stories, those who have seen her hulking form through the trees rarely live long enough to tell the story.

Rek’Sai’s Elderwood skin features an all-new model and textures. This skin also includes new visual effects, sound effects, and new recall animation. It also has eight chromas, including emerald, citrine, pearl, obsidian, ruby, rose quartz, sapphire, and turquoise.
