Life is Strange is Set to Become a Digital TV Series

Critically acclaimed game Life is Strange is getting its digital TV series. Square-Enix announced that they are working with Legendary Digital Studios to turn the game into a live-action series.

Life is Strange is a five-part episode game developed by the French company, Dontnod Entertainment. It follows the story of Max Caulfield, a photography senior with the power to rewind time. With her best friend, Chloe Price, the two embarks on a dangerous journey. Meanwhile, Max tries to figure out the capacity of her power.

According to Greg Siegel of Legendary Digital Studios, Life is Strange is a rare piece with incredibly developed characters and an interesting storyline. He even mentioned that the game possessed elements of a perfect TV series. Its developers are now meeting with potential writers.

“We couldn’t be more excited to partner with Square Enix, Dontnod Entertainment, and dj2 to bring the world of Arcadia Bay to life in an exciting new way,” he said in the official announcement.

Square Enix, on the other hand, mentioned that the show might feature a new version of Blackwell Academy and Arcadia Bay. While Dontnod has already discussed their plans to create another season of Life is Strange.

In the meantime, the game’s first episode is free on Steam for every to check out. All episodes are available for gaming PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, and PS4.
