Mass Effect Legendary Edition is a collection of all the single-player content from the trilogy. It will also include all the DLC, weapons, armor, and promo packs made available since the first game was released. All this content from the trilogy will be fully remastered to deliver better textures, faster frame rates, and 4K UHD optimization.

The Mass Effect Legendary Edition was first announced in a tweet and blog post back in November 2020. In addition to the trilogy, EA also confirmed a new Mass Effect game in the making. Although as of now, it is still early in production.

According to Bioware, The Mass Effect Legendary Edition is designed to modernize the experience of the three games so fans and new players can experience the game and the original work in its best possible form. The remaster will also enhance all the technical features of the three games.

The first Mass Effect game was introduced in 2007 and brought us the character of Commander Shephard, an elite human soldier tasked to stop a rogue agent from carrying out an alien galactic invasion. The game was then followed by Mass Effect 2 in 2010 and Mass Effect 3 in 2012.
