EA Games confirms the launch of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered on November 6. The game will be coming for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows gaming PC

Need For Speed Hot Pursuit came out ten years ago and was developed by Criterion Games. Its remastered version will come with updated visuals, cross-platform multiplayer, and all of its DLC, according to its developers.

In a blog post by EA Games, the Need for Speed Hot Pursuit is remastered to let players experience timeless racing updated for today’s platforms. The remastered version will include cross-platform multiplayer, Autolog, enhanced visuals, and all the main DLC included in its launch.

As stated, the remastered version of the game will come with updated visuals across all platforms. Its Nintendo Switch version will run at 1080p/30fps (for docked mode) and 720p/30fps (for undocked mode). For its PC version, the game can run up to 4K/60fps, depending on the CPU specifications. For PlayStation Pro 4 and Xbox One X, the remastered game can run at either 4K/30fps or 1080p/60fps. While for the base console, the game can run at 1080p/30fps.

Also, Need For Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered will come with higher resolution reflections and an unpressed user interface. It will also feature more particles, boosted textures, and improved AA/SSAO.

When it comes to DLC, the remastered version will include the Porsche Unleashed Pack, the Super Sports Pack, the SCPD Rebel Racer Pack, and the Lamborghini Untamed Pack. These DLCs will be available at launch, which will add an extra 6 hours of gameplay with more than 30 challenges.

The remastered Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit will also include new car colors, car wraps, and achievements. It also has reduced hard stops, multiple quality-of-life updates, and an updated photo mode and gallery.
