Obsidian Studio has announced that The Outer Worlds will have a DLC next year. The announcement came in a post published in Obsidian’s forum.
The post was titled “A Special Thank You from Obsidian,” where Obsidian thanked their fans for their support. Further on, the studio revealed the DLC for their game The Outer Worlds.
According to the studio, the journey isn’t over yet, as they are excited to announce that they will be expanding the story through DLC next year.
Aside from the post, the studio gave no other information about how long the expansion would be, or what the DLC is going to feature. However, Obsidian promised that the details will be made available at a later date.
Leonard Boyarsky and Tim Cain, the directors of The Outer Worlds, also left messages along with the post. Boyarsky and Cain thanked their team for doing a wonderful job and their fans for their full support.
The Outer Worlds just won the Best RPG of 2019 in the Game of the Year Awards. It is an action RPG video game that was released on October 25, 2019, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows gaming PC.
