Capcom has just released the Resident Evil 3 Demo last March 19 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows gaming PC. And then, after that, the Resident Evil Resistance open beta will start on May 27.
According to the developers, the Resident Evil 3 demo will feature a slice of the full game. Players will take on the role of the feisty Jill Valentine as she tries to escape Racoon City.
Resident Evil 3 is more focused on action compared to Resident Evil 2, so it is recommended that players should conserve ammo and items to survive in the long run. Resident Evil 2 will officially be released on April 3 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
The open beta of Resident Evil Resistance, on the other hand, will take players on an asymmetrical co-op game mode set in the Resident Evil universe. Each game round will consist of four Survivors that must work together to survive the traps and monsters that will be placed in their way by the player-controlled Mastermind.
Resident Evil Resistance will be included with Resident Evil 3. And as stated by the developers, Resident Evil Resistance is not canon but is set in the same universe as Resident Evil.
