2B of the critically-acclaimed Japanese video game Automata: NieR is coming to Soul Calibur this December 18.

Yes, you read that right. First announced by Bandai Namco last October, 2B was revealed to be the latest playable character to Soul Calibur 6. The game’s official Twitter account, later on, confirmed that the white short-haired android will be making her way into the game with her own stage, extra weapons, background music, and other customizations.

According to Bandai, 2B will wield dual blades, Virtuous Contract, and Virtuous Treaty, as her primary weapons. Her skill kit will revolve around a number of flurry evasions, mid-air and precision strikes. And as seen in her reveal trailer, her story will be connected to Ivy.

2B is going to be the latest crossover character to join the game, following the likes of Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher and the mysterious swordsman Yoshimitsu from Tekken.

Aside from these guest characters, Soul Calibur 6 also introduced two new characters named Groh and Azwel.

Groh is the first Nordic character to be introduced in the game. He wields a Double Saber called Aerondight Replica and uses an Aval dual-swordsmanship fighting style. He also has a unique skill that allows him to teleport.

Azwel, on the other hand, is the newest villain to be introduced in the game. Also called as The Leader of Humanity, he can summon blades using his magical weapon named the Palindrome. The Palindrome allows him to summon not only swords but also spears and shields.

Soul Calibur 6 is the sixth installment of the series produced by Project Soul and was fully developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It was released on October 19, 2018, for Microsoft Windows gaming PCs and laptops, as well as XBox One and PlayStation 4 gaming consoles.
